I’ve often felt like job interviewing is an exercise in humble bragging. For me the humility part comes more naturally than the self-promotion part. With this in mind, and a desire to gain more experience with AI technologies, I used a suite of AI tools to craft what I’ve called “an AI-assisted portfolio experiment.” The goal was to showcase my UX Research career in a unique, fun, and compelling way and, most importantly, to let it do the bragging for me.
With the help of Google NotebookLM, Udio, Canva, Monica AI and Google DeepMind Gemini, I created “The Deep Dive” podcast. Enjoy!
Two clarifying points:
1. AI didn’t do all the work and I ensured that what was created would be 100% accurate to me and my work (source materials were my resume, a cover letter, and a few portfolio presentations I’ve created). I used these technologies to create the individual pieces and, after lots of fine tuning and editing, I stitched everything together to create this AI-assisted portfolio experiment.
2. My last name is pronounced “bridge-um” and GESA Credit Union is pronounced “ghee-suh.” Proof that AI is a power tool, not perfect, and far from taking over the world.
